Success Stories...
How
we make a difference:
Our
focus is helping children who are victims of sexual
exploitation and
abuse plus
those who are "at-risk" of
becoming
victims due to
conditions
of extreme poverty.
We work hard to ensure the
greatest
possible success in the following areas:
-
Rehabilitation
Centers – Hope Returns
provides a safe and secure home
for
children who have been rescued from sexual exploitation and
abuse. They are loved and attentively cared for
as we provide them with all
their physical, medical, educational, counseling and spiritual needs.
-
Education/Vocation – First-rate in-house education is
provided for the girls. Once they
become young adults, depending on their preference, we also provide
either a
college education for them, or we work with partners to give them
vocational
training. Either way, we ensure that these girls are successfully
reintegrated
back
into society.
- Prevention – We work
with partners to provide education to village people, bringing
awareness about
what
really happens to their children when
they allow them to be taken by a
stranger who tells them that their child will have a better
life.

Without
our partners that we work with in the communities, we would not see the
same successes. Our partners are a real blessing.

From Darkness into Light
CALCUTTA, India
August 29, 2013
We
have recently seen
how God has turned His heart to children caught in the
grasp of human
trafficking and
how He is bringing acceleration to their
rescue.

While visting regions in India that we
work in, we were able to get access into a gated brothel.
A young girl, whose
parents own part of a brothel, came out to a church service and through
the
counsel of the Pastor, began to realize that what her
parents were doing was
wrong. For the first time in her life she felt God’s
unconditional love, and moved by that love, she became the key
instrument in helping us to gain access
to that dark locked
door. Her parents allowed us into
the brothel area. We were shocked by the atrocious conditions
that these victims are living in. It was shocking to see the open
sewers and filth that these little children are exposed to on a daily
basis through their imprisonement in that world of abuse and
exploitation.

In addition, Hope
Returns has secured a safe home for children who are
rescued out of brothels. This home
allows us to take in 60 rescued girls. It
is a beautifully designed facility—in complete contrast
to where these girls were
previously imprisoned. Here, we are able help these young girls
become whole
again through the love of Jesus. We help to give them a 'future
and a hope.' Here, they are now safe, they are loved, they're cared for
and they are valued.
What would normally have
taken 2-3 years to achieve, has been
accomplished in 6mos.
The
Lord has opened doors and has given us clear
direction to move ahead with speed
to rescue children out of
their dark prison.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
and He is so in love with these beautiful children.
He reaches out to
the brokenhearted. And we are really happy that we,
with all our partners, have the
opportunity to play such a part in His amazing rescue plan.

Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," say the LORD.
"They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and
a hope."
May you be blessed by the work we
are doing together. Thanks
for all your support!

CAMBODIA - Vocational Training
Some older girls who
had been at the rehabilitation
center for a few years were
recently trained in cake-
making and became new graduates, making
cakes for
Bloom Café Cake
Shop. The cakes are beautifully
decorated and delicious. About
three weeks after they
graduated, a French lady came into the Cake Shop and
purchased some
cakes. While she was there waiting for
her order, she
was telling them that she was a friend of
the princess of Cambodia. A
few days later, the
princess of Cambodia came
into the Cake Shop and
ordered a
cake for her dad. . . the king of
Cambodia.
These girls had the opportunity
to make a cake for
the king! They were so
excited about it!

So
here are four girls, who had once
been considered valueless as human
beings—likened
to
discarded garbage—
now serving the
king of Cambodia!
What
a beautiful symbolic picture of
restoration, redemption and hope.

that are fit for a king
. . . living lives that are fit for the
King! |
